Condition matters for both display and collecting records. Start with the exact seller photos, especially when a Racing Champions model is older or sold by a marketplace seller. A stock image alone cannot show the item you will receive.
Check the car
Zoom in on the roof, corners and wheel arches for paint wear. Compare all four wheels for alignment and make sure visible mirrors, spoilers or other small parts are present. Ask for a base photo when the scale or model identification is unclear.
Check the package
For sealed examples, inspect the card edges, blister seal and discoloration. For opened examples, look for the original insert or loose accessories. “New” and “collectible” are not substitutes for clear condition photos.
Keep a record
Save the listing title, seller description and photos with your inventory. If you are comparing a John Force Camaro release, confirm that the year and sponsor design match the model you intended to buy.
